Adventures at The Atlantic Wire

The Atlantic Wire is much looser in respect to their moderation in comparison to their parent site, The Atlantic Monthly, where I was banned by Ta-Nehisi Coates on my very first post.

The Wire gets all kinds of comments, but much of it is the usual R vs. D sniping over irrelevant microevents/scandals, with the actual bloggers leaning heavily towards liberalism.

I like to go over there and remind Americans that their country is the new Evil Empire now and again. Sometimes I pitch in on other threads, like this one .

Roland President Camacho Stubby Fatale Asterion mlad SteamshipTime

Bob Dylan Roof

You're at the top of comments list. I was banned a long time ago, but now I'm behind 7 proxies. I will join.

Liberalism seems increasingly defined by how far you can go to defend the furthest deviants and then, like you say, it becomes totalitarian. The nature of the beast.
