The Grand Chessboard

I'm on chapter 3. So far, Brzezinski concedes that America's power must wane at some point like that of all empires. What bothers me in the first couple chapters is that he overstates the primacy and he overestimated the strength of the empire. No one's perfect.

I used to try and read those geopolitical books one finds at Barnes and Noble, but I disagree too much and the inability to post a counter argument makes it impossible for me to go more than a page.

Instead I follow current events, read some history, and ignore what guys like Kissinger and Frum and Bergen toss to the masses. It's not ignorance, I'm better for not exposing myself to their views.
